Publication History

Oriental Stories began in 1930, initially with a "special introductory edition" dated May 1930. The first numbered issue was the October-Novemebr 1930 issue. No issue copyright renewals were found for this serial. The first copyright-renewed contribution is from Summer 1932 (v. 2 no. 3). (More details) Oriental Stories ran under that title until 1932. The following year it was relaunched as The Magic Carpet Magazine.
