Acts of the General Assembly is an ongoing series of acts and resolutions of the Church of Scotland's General Assembly, the church's main lawmaking body.

Publication History

The Acts have been published as far back as 1638. Most pre-1900s Acts volumes and issues were published with the title The Principal Acts of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland. The Acts are still published today.

Persistent Archives of Complete Issues

• 1638-1842: British History Online has the 1638-1842 Acts, as reprinted in an 1843 collection.
• 1731-1740: Google Books has scanned a bound-up volume of what appears to be Acts issued from 1731 to 1740.
• 1781-1790: Google Books has scanned a bound-up volume of what appears to be Acts issued from 1781 to 1790.
• 1791-1800: Google Books has scanned a bound-up volume of what appears to be Acts issued from 1791 to 1800.
• 1931-present: The Church of Scotland website has disaggregated acts from the last several decades.
