Addresses and Proceedings was a publication reporting on the annual meeting of the National Education Association of the United States (also known as the NEA), and on the speeches and papers presented there. The exact title varied over time.
The National Teachers' Association first met in 1857. It became the National Educational Association in 1871, and took on its present name in the early 20th century. Proceedings of some its early meetings were published retrospectively. Meetings were not held in 1861, 1862, 1867, or 1878. For 1893, the NEA held an International Congress of Education as part of Chicago's World's Columbian Exposition that year. The NEA annual report was published as Addresses and Proceedings until 1925, and thereafter simply as Proceedings (without "Addresses") of the annual meeting. The NEA continues to meet annually.
