Publication History

The Alabama Baptist began in 1843. It ran under that name until 1849, when it was renamed the Alabama Baptist Advocate. The name then changed to the South Western Baptist, which continued until 1865 when publication was suspended. The Alabama Baptist began aain in 1873, It was known as the Southern and Alabama Baptist for part of 1902 and 1903. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. It is still published today.
