The American Bookseller was the name of at least two book trade periodicals in the 19th and 20th centuries.

Publication History

The first incarnation of The American Bookseller was a New York periodical associated with the American Book Trade Association that ran from 1876 to 1893, which largely consistted of advertising and listings of books and related items for sale. The second incarnation was associated with the American Booksellers Association and ran from 1977 to 1998.
