Annual Report of the Ontario Department of Mines

Annual Report of the Ontario Department of Mines was a series of reports from Ontario's provincial mining agency. Its title varied over time with the agency name.

Publication History

Ontario's annual report series began in 1891 with the Ontario Bureau of Mines. The Bureau was renamed the Department of Mines in 1920, but the report series continued the original report numbering. Annual reports appear to have been issued until the Department was reorganized in 1967. The present-day successor of the Department is the Ministry of Mines.

Persistent Archives of Complete Issues

• 1891-1925, 1928: HathiTrust has the first 34 reports, and the atlas for the 37th report.
• 1920-1927: HathiTrust also has the 29th through 36th reports, the first ones issued under the Department of Mines. Some later reports may be searchable but not readable online here.
