The Arena was an American political and literary magazine published in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, founded in Boston by B. O. Flower (who also edited it for much of its run). (There is a Wikipedia article about this serial.)
The Arena began in 1889. It absorbed the publications Journal of Practical Metaphysics, The New Time, and The Temple in 1898, and The Coming Age in 1900. It ended in 1909.
