Publication History

Armor traces back its roots to the Journal of the United States Cavalry Association, begun in 1888. It began publishing as Armor in 1950. The first actively copyright-renewed issue is July-August 1950 (v. 59 no. 4). We know of no actively copyright-renewed contributions. (More details) Originally published by a private organization, it was taken over by the US Army in the 1970s.
