The Asiatic Quarterly Review

The Asiatic Quarterly Review was the original name of a British journal on India and southern Asia.

Publication History

The Asiatic Quarterly Review began publishing in 1886. New series began in 1891 and 1896, and the journal was renamed the Imperial and Asiatic Quarterly Review and Oriental and Colonial Record. The name reverted to The Asiatic Quarterly Review in 1913 with the start of a fourth series, and then shortened to "Asiatic Review" in 1914. The journal ceased publication in 1952.
