Astronomical Phenomena was an annual publication summarizing selected astronomical events. It was published by the Nautical Almanac Office, United States Naval Observatory and then later prepared jointly with Her Majesty's Nautical Almanac Office, Royal Greenwich Observatory. Volumes were generally published prior to the year they described, and were based on calculations of astronomical trajectories.
The first Astronomical Phenomena volume forecast events in 1951, and was published in 1950. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. (More details) It is still published today.
