Bulletin

The Geological Survey of Wyoming's Bulletin is a series of geological reports on the state, published by the state or by the University of Wyoming. (The name of the series' sponsor has varied somewhat over time.)

Publication History

Wyoming's geological survey bulletins appear to have begun in the early 20th century (1911 or before). The first one with "Geological Survey of Wyoming" in the series title was published in 1934. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. (More details) The latest Bulletin we know of, number 72, was published in 2005, though some others have been reprinted more recently. Recent Bulletins use "Wyoming State Geological Survey" in the series title.

Persistent Archives of Complete Issues

• 1911-1919, 1934-1944, 1962-1967: HathiTrust has selected Bulletins from 1 to 52 freely readable online. Access may be restricted outside the United States. Some other Bulletins are available here for search only.
• 1911-2005: The Wyoming State Geoloogical Survey website has selected issues available for free download.
