The Butte Miner was a newspaper published in Butte, Montana. Its title varied somewhat, often based on frequency of publication.

Publication History

The Butte Miner began in 1876 as a tri-weekly. It became a weekly (called The Weekly Miner) in 1878, and a semi-weekly in 1882. A daily edition began in 1885. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. In 1928 it merged with the Butte and Sunday editions of the Anaconda Standard to become The Montana Standard.
