Publication History

Bentley's Miscellany published 64 volumes between 1838 and 1868, and was then merged into Temple Bar. An American edition was published alongside the British edition for some of its run, and may have had slightly different content.

Persistent Archives of Complete Issues

• 1837-1868: HathiTrust has volumes 1-3, 5-28, and 30-64, scanned from various institutions.
• 1837-1862: HathiTrust has volumes 1-43, and 45-52, scanned from Princeton University.
• 1838-1842: HathiTrust also has volumes 1-10 of the American edition.
