Bibliography of Agriculture was a bibliographic periodical featuring information compiled by the US Department of Agriculture Library (now the National Agricultural Library).

Publication History

The Library published early volumes of Bibliography of Agriculture beginning in 1942. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. (More details) Private firms began publishing it in 1970 based on the Library's data, and in some years they claimed copyright on the publication. Bibliography of Agriculture appears to have continued until 2000. The US Department of Agriculture's AGRICOLA database was the basis of late issues of this periodical, and now serves the function this periodical once did.

Persistent Archives of Complete Issues

• 1942-1986, 1988-1992: HathiTrust has most early issues, scanned from Penn State.
• 1989, 1991-1993, 1995-1998: HathiTrust also has many issues from 1989 and the 1990s, scanned from the Ohio State University.
