Publication History

Bibliotheca Sacra began in 1843. After publishing three issues that year, it started over with volume 1 in 1844, as Bibliotheca Sacra and Theological Review. It became Bibliotheca Sacra and American Biblical Repository in 1851, Bibliotheca Sacra and Biblical Repository in 1858, and The Bibliotheca Sacra in 1864. It was also known as The Bibliotheca Sacra and Theological Eclectic for a few years after absorbing The Theological Ecelectic in 1871. "The" was dropped from the title by 1913. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. It is still published today.
