Books Abroad began in 1927. No issue copyright renewals were found for this serial. The first copyright-renewed contribution is from Summer 1942 (v. 16 no. 3). (More details) Books Abroad ran under that title until 1976, and was then renamed World Literarure Today, which continues to be published.
