Publication History

The Boston Weekly Magazine began in 1816. It was renamed Weekly Magazine and Ladies' Miscellany in 1817, and (after one intervening issue titled Semi-Weekly Magazine and Mercantile Advertiser) became Boston Weekly Magazine and Ladies' Miscellany in 1818. A new series began in 1824 under the title Weekly Magazine and Ladies' Miscellany. In 1825, it was absorbed by the Boston Spectator. All content of this serial is in the public domain in the US.
