Caecilia

Caecilia, also known as The Caecilia, was an American periodical on Catholic church music published by the Society of Saint Caecilia.

Publication History

Caecilia began in 1874. Early issues had content in German and English. The first copyright-renewed issue is September 1934 (v. 60 no. 8). We know of no actively copyright-renewed contributions. (More details) It ran until 1965, when it was merged with The Catholic Choirmaster to form Sacred Music, a periodical still published today.
