The Calumet

The Calumet was the name of a journal on peace and world affairs, published by peace societies in the northeastern US in the early 19th century.

Publication History

The Calumet began publishing in 1831 as a new series of an earlier journal, "Harbinger of Peace". It ceased in 1835, and was effectively absorbed by the "Advocate of Peace", which had started a year earlier.
