Cash Box

Cash Box was an American periodical published for the music and coin-operated machine industries. As time went on, the emphasis of the magazine shifted from jukeboxes and coin-operated machines in general to hit recordings, recording artists, and the record industry. (There is a Wikipedia article about this serial.)

Publication History

Cash Box began publishing in 1942 as "The Cash Box". No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. It ceased publication in 1996. "Cashbox" was revived in 2006 as an occasional online publication "with the consent and cooperation of the family of George Albert, the late president and publisher of the original 1950s edition", according to that publication's website.
