The Caucasian

The Caucasian was a newspaper published multiple times a week explicitly for the white community in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Publication History

The Caucasian began in the late 1880s as the Daily Caucasian, but was renamed The Caucasian in 1900 when it switched to a twice-a-week schedule. (Its frequency increased later on.) Its title became the Daily Caucasian again in 1927, when it returned to a daily schedule. It ceased publication about a year later. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial.
