Chicago Tribune began in 1847. In 1858 it merged with the Chicago Daily Press and published as the Press and Tribune until 1860, when it was renamed the Chicago Daily Tribune. The first copyright-renewed issue is July 15, 1946 (v. 105 no. 168). The first copyright-renewed contribution is from February 3, 1929. (More details) It is still published today.
