Publication History

The Christian Recorder began in 1852 in Philadelphia, succeeding the Christian Herald. Publication was suspended in 1856, and resumed with a new series in 1861. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. Today it is published in Nashville.

• 1856: The Internet Archive has first series volume 1, numbers 38 and 39, dated January 18 and March 4, 1856. Publication was suspended after number 39 until 1861.
