Clarksville Chronicle

Clarksville Chronicle was the short title of a newspaper published in Clarksville, Tennessee in the 19th century. The full title varied somewhat over time, but often included information on when or how often the newspaper was published.

Publication History

Clarksville Chronicle began in the early 1800s. Publication was suspended between 1862 and 1865. A daily edition began in the 1880s, known as the Clarksville Daily Chronicle or Clarksville Evening Chronicle. In 1890 the Chronicle merged with the Clarksvile Daily Tobacco Leaf to form the Clarksville Evening Tobacco Leaf-Chronicle.
