The Comet was a newspaper published in Johnson City, Tennessee in the 19th and early 20th century.
The Comet began in 1884. A daily edition known as the Daily Comet, ran from 1891 to 1893 concurrently with the weekly Comet. The newspaper published as The Johnson City Comet for part of the 1910s. It appears to have ceased publication around 1918.
