Publication History

Country Life began in 1901 as Country Life in America. It was renamed The New Country Life in 1917, and Country Life in the War in 1918, before adopting Country Life by itself as a title. No issue copyright renewals were found for this serial. The first copyright-renewed contribution is from December 1935. (More details) It merged with The Sportsman in 1937, and was known for a few issues thereafter as Country Life and the Sportsman. It ceased publication in 1942.
