Demand and Price Situation was a publication of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) on US farm and agricultural economics.

Publication History

Demand and Price Situation began publishing under that title in 1937, as a monthly publication succeeding The Price Situation. It was initially published by the USDA's Bureau of Agricultural Economics, and later by the Economic Research Service. Demand and Price Situation begin a new series in 1955, with numbering starting with DPS-1. It shifted from a monthly to a quarterly publication in the early 1960s. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. (More details) Demand and Price Situation ceased publication in 1975 when it merged with various other USDA publications to form Agricultural Outlook.
