Actes de la Société d'Ethnographie was a French-language ethnography journal. The title varied somewhat over time.

Publication History

Actes de la Société d'Ethnographie began in 1860 as Comptes-Rendus des Séances de la Société d'Ethnographie Americaine et Orientale. (The name shortened later in the 1860s). A new series began in 1875, but volumes reverted to the old numbering in 1886. Some further volumes may have been published into the 20th century.

Persistent Archives of Complete Issues

• 1860: HathiTrust has volumes 1 and 2 of Comptes-Rendus des Séances de la Société d'Ethnographie Americaine et Orientale.
• 1862: HathiTrust has volume 3 of Actes de la Société d'Ethnographie Americaine et Orientale.
• 1864-1866: HathiTrust has volume 5.
• 1867-1870: HathiTrust has volume 6.
• 1873: HathiTrust has volume 7.
• 1875: HathiTrust has new series volume 1 (overall volume 8).
• 1878: HathiTrust has new series volume 2 (overall volume 9), titled "Actes de l'Institution Ethnographique".
• 1886: HathiTrust has volume 10.
