Esprit is a French magazine of literature and commentary. (There is a Wikipedia article about this serial.)
Esprit began in 1932, with the full title Esprit: Revue Internationale. In 1939 it absorbed Le Voligeur Français and published for a while as Esprit et Le Voltigeur before reverting to Esprit in 1940. Publication was suspended or irregular during much of World War II. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. (More details) It is still published today.
