The Fool-Killer

The Fool-Killer was the title of newspapers published by J. L. Pearson in Wilkes County, North Carolina in the early 20th century.

Publication History

The Fool-Killer began in 1910 in Moravian Falls. It moved to Boomer in 1916, and in 1917 was renamed Good News. In 1919 that paper was renamed The Fool-Killer. The second run of The Fool-Killer lasted until November 1922, and was then succeeded by Pearson's Paper. The Fool-Killer began again in the 1920s, and appears to have lasted at least until 1929, publishing in various other Wilkes County locations like Wilkesboro and Pores Knob. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial.
