Forrester's Boys' and Girls' Magazine, and Fireside Companion was an American children's magazine published in the mid-19th century and initially edited by Mark Forrester.

Publication History

Forrester started the magazine in 1848 as The Boys' and Girls' Magazine and Fireside Companion. "Forrester's" was added to the title around 1851. The magazine ran until 1857, after which it was absorbed by Student and Schoolmate (which for a time afterwards published as Student and Schoolmate and Forrester's Boys' and Girls' Magazine).
