Fremont Journal was a newspaper published in Fremont, Sandusky County, Ohio. Its title varied somewhat over time, and over editions.

Publication History

Fremont Journal began in 1853 as a weekly newspaper. At the outbreak of the Civil War in 1861, a daily edition named Fremont Journal Extra began, later retitled Fremont Daily Journal before ceasing publication later that year. The weekly newspaper continued, renaming to The Fremont Weekly Journal in 1867 before reverting to Fremont Journal in 1877. Publication seems to have ceased around 1927. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial.
