Publication History

The Freeman began publishing under that title in October 1849, succeding the Lower Sandusky Freeman after the town it was published in changed its name from Lower Sanducky to Fremont. All content of this serial is in the public domain in the US. (More details) In June 1850 The Freeman was renamed the Fremont Weekly Freeman.
