Publication History

Friends' Intelligencer was founded in 1844 as Friends' Weekly Intelligencer. The title shortened to Friends' Intelligencer in 1853. In 1885 it united with The Friends Journal, and co-published with it under varying combined titles until 1902. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. (More details) Friends' Intelligencer ran until 1955, when it merged with The Friend to form the current Friends Journal, still published today.
