Frostburg Mining Journal began in 1871. All content of this serial is in the public domain in the US. (More details) It ceased publication in 1913, but later that year The Frostburg Spirit began publishing as a successor to this newspaper. That paper's title reverted to Frostburg Mining Journal in 1915, and then ceased publication in 1917.
