Publication History

Glasgow Medical Journal began in 1828. Publication was suspended from 1834 to 1852. New series began in 1853 and 1868, and volume numbering was reset to 27 in 1946 following a journal merger. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. (More details) The journal ran until 1955. In 1956 it merged with the Edinburgh Medical Journal to form the Scottish Medical Journal, which is still published today.
