Goldsboro Argus was a newspaper published in various editions in Goldsboro, North Carolina.

Publication History

The Goldsboro Argus was founded in 1885 in a weekly edition, the Goldsboro Weekly Argus, and a daily edition, the Goldsboro Daily Argus. Starting in 1909, the Weekly Argus briefly became the Semi-Weekly Argus before returning to a weekly schedule and title. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. In 1929 the Argus merged with the Goldsboro News to become the Goldsboro News-Argus. The News Argus continues to be published today.
