Great Falls Tribune

Great Falls Tribune is a newspaper published in Great Falls, Montana. (There is a Wikipedia article about this serial.)

Publication History

Great Falls Tribune began in 1885 as a weekly newspaper, succeeding the Sun River Sun. A semi-weekly edition began in 1887, was renamed The Tribune in 1890, and renamed The Semi-Weekly Tribune later that year. It was discontinued in favor of a weekly edition called The Weekly Tribune in 1891, which then became the Great Falls Weekly Tribune in 1894. Parallel to these editions was a daily edition that began in 1887, was known as the Great Falls Daily Tribune from 1895 through 1921, and simply as the Great Falls Tribune beginning in 1921. It absorbed the Great Falls Leader in 1969. No active issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. It is still published today.
