Publication History

The Greeneville Sun began in 1901 as a weekly newspaper. A daily edition, the Greeneville Daily Sun, began in 1918. In 1920 it merged with the Greeneville Democrat (founded in 1879) to form the Greenville Democrat-Sun, but that paper's title reverted to The Greeneville Sun in 1930. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. It is still published today.
