Humphrey's Journal was an American journal devoted to the daguerreian and photographic arts, published in New York in the mid-19th century. Its full title varied somewhat over time.
Humphrey's Journal began in 1852 as Humphrey's Journal of the Daguerreotype and Photographic Arts and the Sciences and Arts Pertaining to Heliography. It succeeded The Daguerreian Journal and continued its issue numbering. In 1862, Humphrey's Journal was known as Humphrey's Journal of Photography and the Heliographic Arts and Sciences. In 1863 it became Humphrey's Journal of Photography and the Allied Arts and Sciences. Volume numbering continued through each of these title shifts. All content of this serial is in the public domain in the US. (More details) Humphrey's Journal ceased publication in 1870.
