The Historical Outlook began publishing under that title in October 1918, succeeding The History Teacher's Magazine and continuing its issue numbering. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. (More details) The Historical Outlook ran until 1933, and was thereafter renamed The Social Studies.
