Holstein-Friesian Herd Book was a cattle pedigree publication of the Holstein-Friesian Association of America.

Publication History

The Holstein-Friesian Association of America was formed in 1885 as the merger of the Association of Breeders of Thoroughbred Holstein Cattle and the Dutch Friesian Association of America. The first volume of their Holstein-Friesian Herd Book was published the following year. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. Publication continued at least into the 1990s, with later volumes titled the Holstein-Friesian Association Herd Book. In 1994 the Association was renamed Holstein Association USA. Their pedigree information is now published in an online database.
