Illinois Blue Book is an Illinois state government information reference, issued every one or two years by the Illinois Secretary of State.
The Illinois Blue Book traces its roots back to a private directory published for legislators in 1861. The first volume we know of titled the Blue Book of the State of Illinois is the volume for 1898. That title was used consistently starting in 1903. By 1951 it was officially titled Illinois Blue Book. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. (More details) It is still published today.
