Illinois became a state in 1818. Its legislature meets to this day.
Persistent Archives of Complete Issues
- 1837: Google Books has the House journal for a special session of 1837.
- 1839-1852, 1855-1859, 1863, 1867-1888, 1896-1905, 1909-1911, 1925: HathiTrust has the House journal for the 11th-16th, part of the 17th, the 19th-21st, 23rd, 25th-35th, 39th-44th, 46th-47th, and 54th general assemblies. Access to some volumes may be restricted outside the United States.
- 1853: Google Books has the House journal for the 18th general assembly.
- 1890: The University of Michigan has the House journal for an extra session of the 36th general assembly.
- 1971-recent: The Illinois General Assembly has House journals from the 77th assembly through the previous one, as well as other House records.
