The Illustrated Magazine of Art was a short-lived New York-based art magazine published in the 1850s. It appears to have been patterned after a magazine of the same name published in the same years in London by J. Cassell, but to have different content (at least to some extent).
The Illustrated Magazine of Art began in 1853, published by Alexander Mongomery. It was then published by T. L. McElrath and Co. in 1854, and ended that year.
