Industrial and Engineering Chemistry was the name of a journal of applied chemistry published by the American Chemical Society in the mid-20th century.
Industrial and Engineering Chemistry began publishing under that title in 1923, succeeding the Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry, and continuing its volume numbering. A "news edition" was published separately, eventually becoming Chemical and Engineering News. An analytical edition spun off in 1929. (After that, the main journal was sometimes referred to as the "Industrial Edition".) The first copyright-renewed issue is January 1, 1940 (v. 32 no. 1). We know of no actively copyright-renewed contributions. (More details) The journal ran until 1970.
