The International Monthly Magazine was a monthly journal published by Stringer and Townsend in New York in the mid-19th century. The title varied somewhat. Volume titles always began with "The International Monthly Magazine" and then specified Literature, Art, and Science in some order. Individual issues did not include "Monthly" in their titles.
The International Monthly Magazine began publication in 1850 as the International Weekly Miscellany of Literature, Art, and Science. The magazine went to a monthly schedule in October, changing its title and resetting the issue number to 3. It ceased publication in 1852, and was absorbed into Harper's.
