International Law Studies is the current title of an international law publication of the Navy War College. Before the mid-1950s the title varied frequently.
While International Law Studies now traces its origins back to 1895, the first volume published in the current numbering was published in 1901, and was titled International Law Situations. The title changed to International Law Discussions in 1903, back to International Law Situations in 1904, to International Law Topics and Discussions in 1905, back to International Law Situations in 1907, to International Law Topics in 1909, back to International Law Situations in 1910, back to International Law Topics and Discussions in 1913, back to International Law Topics in 1915, to International Law Documents in 1917, to International Law Decisions and Notes in 1922, back to International Law Documents in 1924, back to International Law Situations in 1926, back to International Law Documents in 1940, and finally to International Law Studies in 1954. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. (More details) It is still published today.
