Publication History

Journal of the American Welding Society began in 1922. The first issue was titled Proceedings of the American Welding Society, but Journal of the American Welding Society was used in the second and subsequent issues. The title American Welding Society Journal was also used. No issue copyright renewals were found for this serial. The first copyright-renewed contribution is from August 1933 (v. 12 no. 8). (More details) The journal was renamed Welding Journal in 1934. That title continues to be published today.
