The Diocese of New York held its first convention in 1785, and holds conventions to this day. The dates shown below reflect the dates of the councils; proceedings might be published in later years in some cases.

• 1785-1854, 1856-1861, 1863-1885, 1891-1917, 1919-1921: HathiTrust has the 1st-53rd, 55th-78th, 80th-102nd, 108th-134th, and 136th-138th convention journals.
